Preparing new transport planning policies and planning guidance through the review of the Local Plan, Old Kent Road Area Action Plan and Supplementary Planning Documents. We will be working at the cutting edge of how local planning policy can respond to ambitious carbon reduction targets.
Providing specialist and technical input and advice for the Planning Division throughout the planning process, including reviewing transport statements, and other carbon related documents submitted with planning applications to identify and negotiate ways of ensuring the delivery of accessible areas.
Inputting into Transport Policy as part of our pre-application planning advice service, as part of a review of planning services.
Establishing collaborative ways to deliver the council's Movement Plan with the Highways team.
Working with colleagues from other councils on progressing transport policy across London.
